The Early Bird

The first of four paintings I made of this building, one of the older apartment blocks on the seafront dating back to the 60s. I’m attracted to it because of its nostalgic reminder of times past. I also love the light airiness of its simple structure, looking almost like a strong breeze might blow it down when the warm season passes.
