Song of the Morning

A painting of my daughter, inspired by our morning swim together. The lovely light and atmosphere that morning reminded me of the opening scene in Steinbeck’s The Pearl, so I called it Song if the Morning. (He actually called it The Song of the Family, but I’d remembered it as the morning).
